How much does tuition cost?

Tuition is dependant on the age of the child and the number of days in the week the child is scheduled to attend. Please give us a call to discuss tuition costs.

Do you offer part-time care?

Yes, we offer full and part-time care for ages birth to 5 years. We also offer drop-in care. Part-time and drop-in care is limited to space available so please contact us to see what days we have available.

Do you provide meals?

Yes, children 12 months and older are provided breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack that is approved by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Infants are provided formula and baby food.

Do you offer a curriculum for the children?

Yes, we are proud to partner with FunShine Express. They help us provide a professional infant/toddler curriculum and preschool curriculum with developmentally appropriate learning materials that offers a high quality, award-winning, fun-filled learning environment for children.

What is your child to caregiver ratio?

Ratio's are determined by the age of the children. At Little Hands at Home Daycare we meet or exceed the state determined levels for each age group.

How do you keep parents up to date on their kid’s daily activities or behavior? Do you offer a daily report?

Little Hands at Home Daycare uses the Brightwheel app. This app provides real-time updates directly to your phone. You can communicate directly with your childs care-giver, see photos from the day and even pay your tuition.

What happens if my child needs to miss a day due to vacation or illness?

Children earn 5 vacation days after 6 months of enrollment of at least 3 days a week or more. These days can be used if your child is out for vacation or illness. If no vacation days are available, full tuition is due if child misses for any reason.

Can parents drop by whenever they’d like or swing by to breastfeed? What are your visitation policies in general?

Parents are encouraged to drop in any time to visit their child/children. However, visitation during quiet time/nap time is discouraged because it is disruptive.

How often do you sanitize the toys and materials used by the children?

We take the health and safety of all the children in our care seriously. All toys and surfaces are santized daily to help deter the spread of germs. This includes toys, chairs, tables, mats.

What if I'm late picking up my child?

Our daycare hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. An emergency or occasionally working overtime is something we certainly understand. Notify us as soon as possible if you will be arriving late. Late fees are explained in our Parents Policy Handbook.

What days and times are you open?

We are open Monday through Friday, from 6:00am-6:00 pm.

Can I take a tour of the child care center during hours of operation?

We recommend calling to book an appointment so the Director can plan time to spend with you and your family and have no other appointments booked. However, we have an open door policy, so you may also choose to stop by any time.

Will my child have the opportunity to play outside every day?

We believe children should have the opportunity to play outside every day. Outside play provides children with many different learning experiences. Make sure your child comes dressed accordingly.

Who can I expect to see interacting with my child?

All Little Hands Daycare teachers have a high school diploma, up to a Bachelor’s degree. Staff must be 18 years or older, pass a background check and criminal record check, and have experience working with children as well as being First Aid/CPR certified.

Do you accept children on subsidy (CCMS, CCS)?

Yes. If you live in Tarrant county you can contact Tarrant County Child Care Management Services (CCMS) here. Residents in Johnson county contact Child Care Services (CCS) here. If you have any questions on how to enroll or transfer your subsidy to our center, don't hesitate to give us a call.

How do I obtain my year-end tax statement?

You can obtain your year end statement through the Brightwheel app.
